Hybrid of unknown parents originating in Jamaica. Very vigorous TREE, presenting outward growth with small thorns on fruit-bearing branches.
FRUIT
Late maturing fruit, with consistent skin that releases essential oils when peeled. Orange-hued pulp, soft and juicy.
FRUIT CHARACTERISTICS
Weight: 100 – 130.
Diameter (mm): 55 – 70.
Shape: Obovate, diameter/height = 1.2
Peel (mm): 2.3 – 2.9.
% juice: 50 – 55.
Seeds: None, although if cross-pollination occurs, some may be present.
Fruiting: High yield.
Harvesting: 20 February – 30 May.
