Lane Late
GROUP
Navel
TREE
Vigorous, similar to the W. Navel variety. It exhibits less thorniness than other late navel varieties such as Navelate.
FRUITS
Large in size with extraordinary adherence to the peduncle, rounded with a navel that is barely visible externally. It has a sweet and pleasant flavor; occasionally, it shows more or less long longitudinal grooves from the calyx towards the stylar end.
OTHER CHARACTERISTICS
Late ripening; the fruit keeps well on the tree until the end of April. Good and consistent productivity. An interesting variety for extending the navel harvesting period.
