TREE<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Vigorous, no thorns, originally from South Africa. The Midknight tree is a fairly recent development, similar to Valencia Late, showing strong graft union overgrowth.<\/p>\n

FRUIT<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Gives fruit with a high juice content, good size, better organoleptic properties than Valencia Late and almost seedless.<\/p>\n

Weight (g): 180 – 220.<\/p>\n

Diameter (mm): 69 – 75.<\/p>\n

Shape: Round, somewhat elongated, diameter\/height = 0.97<\/p>\n

Skin (mm): 3.5 – 4.2.<\/p>\n

Colour: Orange C.I. = 10<\/p>\n

% juice: 50 – 55.<\/p>\n

Seeds: 0 – 1.<\/p>\n

Fruiting: High yield, but somewhat lower than Valencia Late.<\/p>\n
